Join us for a weekend of legendary Norse adventures! On Friday evening, dive into Mythweavers’ Gathering: Mythical Mayhem—a lively social event full of storytelling, fun, and tasty treats. The next day, participate in hands-on craft and activity classes, such as puppet-making, rune painting, and more, designed for youth aged 6 and older.
** Note: A parent or guardian MUST accompany the youth during youth activities!
If possible, please register your children for youth activities in advance. Doing so will greatly assist us in our planning efforts and ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!

Friday 20th, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Sign-in begins at 6:00 PM, and youth must be signed out by 8:15 PM.
Mythweavers’ Gathering: Mythical Mayhem
- An energetic, social event for youth and families.
- Play Norse-themed Mad Libs, craft mythic stories, and explore tales of gods, heroes, and monsters.
- Enjoy Asgardian Dew (non-alcoholic mead) and Valhalla Bites (Norse-inspired snacks).
- Adults can join or relax, while kids can immerse themselves in legendary fun.
Saturday 21st
9:45 AM – Youth Sign-In
- Welcome and check-in
10:00 AM – “One Hand, Many Legends: Puppets of Tyr”
- Activity: Puppet-making workshop focusing on Tyr, the god of bravery.
- Description: Create your own Norse puppet, then learn how to perform and tell stories with it in a mini puppet show.
- Goal: Discover Tyr’s virtues and bring Norse legends to life through puppetry.
11:30 AM – “Norse Mythology Scavenger Hunt” (Ongoing until 3 PM)
- Activity: A team-based quest to find hidden clues, artifacts, and symbols related to Norse gods, giants, and legendary tales.
- Goal: Learn about Tyr, Odin, Fenrir, and other Norse figures while solving riddles and searching for treasures.
- We encourage parents or guardians to join in the activity!
12:00 PM – Morning Youth Activities End
12:45 PM – Afternoon Activities Begin.
1:00 PM – “Make Your Own Rune Stones”
- Activity: Create personalized rune stones by painting symbols onto small stones.
- Description: Discover the history and significance of runes, Odin’s role in their discovery, and craft your unique symbols to tell your stories.
2:00 PM – “Runekeeper’s Pouch Making”
- Activity: Craft your own pouch to hold your rune stones.
- Description: Decorate and personalize a small pouch that keeps your runes safe, inspired by Norse traditions.
3:00 PM – Youth Activities End.
